Easter Day in the Garden

8 Apr

John 20:15

New International Version (NIV)

15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”

Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”

It is Easter today. I had a sudden urge to tend the garden, I do not know why.

I dropped by the plant nursery with the hubby and Hans after breakfast.

I was overjoyed to see these being sold at RM18 [Note: RM3 ~ USD1] per plant. If you know the name of this plant, please do enlighten me. redface

I bought one. mrgreen

And 10 bags of black soil for RM15 [Note: RM3 ~ USD1].

Two bags were used for re-potting the lemon grass plant.

I am hoping the plants would ward off mosquitoes from entering our living room through the window.

Later in the night, I reused some of the materials lying around [inspired by souldipper] to attempt seeding some salad, siu pak choy, chilli, and okra. I hope it works. wink

The hubby helped me with one.

Wishing you a very Happy Easter! :D

Wow, I’m so impressed, Joreen. Discovering you have done this is a far better gift than finding a basket of sugar-fill Easter eggs – or a fattening chocolate bunny!

I wonder if the little bush is some type of Juniper. Hard to tell…

Thanks for the inspiration, Amy! It feels good to be able to reuse some of the materials. :D

Yes, after googling for a while, I believe it could be Juniper or cedar… I hope it won’t be too tall or too short.
